2014 Flight School Price List

Cessna 172 & Piper Warrior

Based on FAA minimums the cost of flight training in a Cessna 172 or a Piper Warrior is as follows:

  • 20 hours of dual instruction in aircraft: $3,600.00;
  • 20 hours of solo time in aircraft: $2,500.00(not including tax);
  • At least 10 hours ground instruction: $550.00
  • Books and instructional materials: $100 to $350 depending on the program

Total: $6,650, $6,280 Block Rate (not including books and materials)

*BLOCK RATE * discount: Place a minimum of $1500 dollars (airplane) on your account with cash, check or debit card and receive a discount on your aircraft rental by $7 per hour and an additional $3 per hour towards the instructor fee. Your account must always be at a zero or positive balance to receive the discount.

*Flight training may vary. This is just an estimate based on FAA minimums.

 

Helicopter-Robinson R22

Based on FAA minimums the cost of flight training in a Robinson R22 is as follows:

  • 20 hours of dual instruction in aircraft: $5,740.00;
  • 20 hours of solo time in aircraft: $4840.00(not including tax);
  • At least 10 hours ground instruction: $550.00
  • Books and instructional materials: $100 to $350 depending on the program

Total: $11,130, $10760 Block Rate (not including books and materials)
