Our flight training is based on the FAA requirement of a minimum of 40 hours of flight training for an airplane single-engine rating. A person who applies for a private pilot certificate with an airplane category and single-engine class rating must log at least 40 hours of flight time that includes at least 20 hours of flight training from an authorized instructor and 10 hours of solo flight training in the areas of operation. Total time varies depending on the student. The student average is between 45-50 hours.

Cessna 152
The average cost of flight training in a Cessna 152 is as follows:
- 30 hours of CFI instruction time: $4,200.00
- 10 hours of solo flight time: $950,00
- Ground instruction: $450
- Books and instructional materials: $100 to $350 depending on the program
Total: $5,950.00 (tax included)
*BLOCK RATE * Minimum advance deposits of $1,500.00 to be used as credit towards flight training you will receive a discounted rate of $7 per airplane rental hour and $3 per CFI hour. You must maintain a credit balance to receive the discount.
Cessna 172
The average cost of flight training in a Cessna 172 is as follows:
- 30 hours of CFI instruction time: $4,800.00;
- 10 hours of solo flight time: $1,150.00;
- Ground instruction: $450
- Books and instructional materials: $100 to $350 depending on the program
Total: $6,750 (tax included)
